CaloClaw Terms of Service

1. The service

CaloClaw provides calorie and optional nutrition logging, record trends, Cat Coach reactions, character customization, notifications, and account sync. Features may change or pause for reliability, policy, store review, or operating needs.

The service is for people age 18 or older. It is not intended for children or teenagers.

2. Health information limits

User-entered calorie and nutrition values support personal logging and are not medical measurements or advice.

CaloClaw is not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment service. A qualified health professional should be consulted about illness, eating concerns, allergies, pregnancy, medication, or a specialized diet.

3. Photo-analysis status and record control

Photo analysis is optional. The app identifies the provider, purpose, data-use terms, and retention terms before consent and transfer. Users must review and edit the estimate before saving. Manual entry remains available, and saved photos and numeric records can be edited or deleted independently. See the Privacy Policy for processing details.

4. Accounts and user responsibilities

Users must use a device, Google account, or Apple account they may lawfully access. Authentication information must not be shared, and ad rewards or purchase validation must not be bypassed.

Account deletion differs from resetting records. Its scope is shown before deletion starts in app settings. If the flow fails, use Support.

5. Ads in the free version

Free-version banners may appear on screens outside active logging, such as trends or settings. CaloClaw does not place ads in the camera, dial, edit, save, or record-completion flow.

A rewarded ad opens only when the user chooses it for another stated in-app benefit. Inventory, region, network, or verification state may make it unavailable or prevent a reward from being confirmed.

6. Plus and legacy remove-ads rights

Plus is offered as monthly and yearly subscriptions and as a one-time Unlimited purchase. Monthly and yearly Plus remove ads and provide 90 photo analyses per month; Unlimited Plus removes ads and provides unlimited photo analysis. Prices, renewal terms, and exact benefits are shown before purchase. Purchase, restore, cancellation, and refund follow the applicable app marketplace procedures and policies.

A purchaser of the legacy permanent remove-ads product remains ad-free while that entitlement can be validly restored and verified. The purchase screen distinguishes that scope from Plus.

7. Prohibited conduct and limits of responsibility

Security attacks, account misuse, automated abusive requests, bypassing ad rewards or purchase validation, unauthorized copying or distribution of app assets, and violations of law are prohibited.

The operator will make reasonable efforts to provide a stable service but cannot completely prevent interruption caused by external sign-in, ad providers, the App Store, networks, or device environments.

8. Changes

Material changes will be announced in the app or on the web through a reasonable method.
